BARCELONA AND SITGES 2008

Sitges is the nicest resort on the Costa Dorada, and is famous for its blinding, white beaches. Here you can take beautiful, long ocean-side walks and admire the white washed houses of this small city that was once a typical peaceful fishing town.

Barcelona is one of the most cosmopolitan cities of Spain, overlooking the Mediterranean.  Here you can drop by a tapas bar for a delectable snack, lose all sense of time pondering at a Picasso or a Miro, and immerse yourself in the architectural wonders of Antoni GAUDI as you stroll through Parc Guell or admire the unfinished Sagrada Familia Church.

Attend the XIV festival internacional de Tango Argentino

 It’s Tango.  It’s by the Mediterranean.  It’s the summer.  And it’s Spain!

For the 15^th year in a row tangueros traveling from all over the world will gather for five days of dancing, instruction, great shows, new friendships and live music by a Buenos Aires orchestra.

The milongas are at the outdoor cinema in Retiro.  There’s dancing on the beach promenade the whole night through.  The level of dancing is astonishing and the teachers are some of the best in the Argentine Tango world.
